Terms and conditions for using PyGGi
The software, Python for Glass Genomics (PyGGi), a machine learning-based software for predicting and optimizing glass compositions (hereinafter referred collectively as PyGGi) is offered by Foundation of Innovation and Technology Transfer (FITT) having its registered office at Dean’s Complex, Indian Institute of Technology Delhi, Hauz Khas, New Delhi-110016, India, for your use in accordance with the terms and conditions mentioned below. The terms and conditions herein contained in this Agreement shall be considered legally binding agreement between FITT and USER for the use of PyGGi.
By downloading, installing, copying or otherwise using PyGGi, USER agrees to be bound by the terms and conditions set forth in the agreement.
By clicking the “I ACCEPT THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS” box during the registration, download, installation, or activation of PyGGi, you represent that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by the terms and conditions of this IITD Agreement (this “License”). If you do not accept these terms and conditions then you are not granted a license and are not authorized to access, download, install, or use PyGGi.
FITT grants a revocable, non-exclusive, non-sub licensable and non-transferable license to use the software for personal, corporate, or academic use only of the accompanying software, subject to and in accordance with our Terms. No licenses or rights are granted to you by implication or otherwise, except for the licenses and rights expressly granted to you.
The SOFTWARE provides this website as a public service. This Privacy Policy explains the collection, use and disclosure of your personal data in relation to your use of the website http://pyggi.iitd.ac.in (“Website”). When we use the term “personal data” in this Privacy Policy, we mean information that would allow someone to identify you, such as your name, address, location, employer, email address or other unique identifier.
When you provide personal information to this website we may use it to provide you with ongoing information about PyGGi and services. FITT or IITD will not rent, sell or lease this personally identifiable information to other companies or individuals.
Intellectual Property Rights with respect to PyGGi are owned by IITD. The USER does not acquire any rights of ownership in PyGGi.
IIT Delhi is the creator and owner of the contents, logo and other visual media is protected by copyright laws of India.
PyGGi is provided, both online and offline, in the form of Software as a Service (SaaS). The online version and the downloadable trial version are free to use. Licence to use the downloadable full version of PyGGi is available on a payment basis.
The term of the Agreement starts with the execution of the Agreement and is perpetual. The Agreement shall be terminated in the event USER fails to comply with the any of the terms and conditions or is in breach of the Agreement.
In the event a claim of infringement is made with respect to PyGGi (including but not limited to patent, trade secret, copyright or trademark rights), FITT in its sole discretion may terminate the all right to use the Software.
Please note that a “cookie” is a small piece of information stored by a web server on a web browser so it can be later read back from that browser. Like most websites, we use cookies on the Website to help us improve the efficiency and quality of the website.
No Personal Data will be collected via cookies and other tracking technology; however, if you previously provided Personal Data, cookies may be tied to such information.

If any dispute or difference arises between the Parties hereto as to the construction, interpretation, effect, and implication of any provision of this agreement including the rights or liabilities or any claim or demand of any party against other or in regard to any other matter under these presents but including any matters, decisions or determination of which is expressly provided for in this agreement, such disputes or differences shall mutually discussed to resolve. If the issues remain unresolved the parties agree to subject themselves to arbitration envisaged under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act 1996 and rules framed there under for the time being in force.
The High Court at Delhi shall have exclusive jurisdiction in all matters concerning this License, including any matter arising out of the Arbitration Proceedings or any Award made therein.
